dodge dart the journey 

Working with my pals at Leviathan with director and DK alumnus, Matt Daly, we created a 3D projection mapping film to launch the next generation Dodge Dart. The set was composed of a series of cubes inspired by the studios' work for the Amon Tobin ISLAM tour visuals. The grid of cubes would provide an opportunity for moments of graphic alignment, in this case red contours lines trace the cubes as they transition to a spectrum cityscape. A cg version of the Dodge car in red was projected onto the practical white car while creating the illusion of speed involved projecting moving reflections and wheels. The stylized cg environments; a night time cityscape, tunnel, suspension bridge and hilly landscape give the viewer the illusion of going on a surreal trompe-l'œil.
